Who We Are: The Parent Coalition is a group of parents, grandparents, caregivers and professionals who advocate for young children in Montcalm County.
The Purpose: Children in Montcalm County are healthy, eager, and prepared to succeed in school and life.
What We Do:
We aim to be a resource for all parents in the county so that they can get information and the support they need.
Provide leadership opportunities for parents so that they feel more comfortable advocating for their own children and early childhood services in their communities.
We participate in community events, collaborate with community services and plan events that will benefit families with young children.
Provide parents with educational resources and opportunities.
How to get involved:
We are always looking for new members. If you are interested you can attend any meeting or event to learn more about the Coalition. Or you can contact the Parent Liaison for more information; I would be happy to talk with you.
Set your own level of involvement, we need members that volunteer, provide perspective on early childhood services and/or advocate.
