If you're not familiar with ChildCare Commitment, it is an award that provides financial support for licensed childcare and early education expenses for children from low-income families. Eligible families may receive 40% of the annual cost of childcare for one child per family, up to a maximum of $2,688 for one year. ChildCare Commitment is a one-time award for a period of twelve months.

ChildCare Commitment distributes awards as funds become available on a statewide basis, with priority to regions experiencing higher poverty levels.  However, at this time, we do not have any applications on file from any families in Montcalm county.  I greatly appreciate any help you could provide in forwarding the attached application to parents who may be looking for assistance.
